NEW WEEK, NEW MONTH, NEW MINDSET


The first of the month starting on a Monday is the perfect excuse to rid your body of all the negative energy, bad vibes, ill feelings, and anything that does not better you. It's Monday, the sun is shining, the weather is beautiful, and it's a fresh start to a new week full of new opportunities. Why not take advantage of that? Why let the misery of yesterday, last week, last month, or even last year fill your mind so much that it prevents you from improving yourself?

Start with today. Get a good night's sleep. Wake up at a decent hour. Wash up and get dressed. Have a healthy breakfast. Go out for a run. Meditate and journal. Give yourself that "me" time. Put the phone down, it's not going anywhere. See some friends. Eat your favorite snack. Update your planner and to-do list. Keep your mind flowing with positive thoughts. And most importantly, pray to God to thank him for all you have, all that you are, and all that you want to be. Pray for those who are struggling with their emotions and going through a difficult time, especially with everything going on in the world right now.

Set goals for this month and keep track of how you are reaching them. Surround yourself with those who build you up instead of down. Stay focused on your career and where you are heading. You're on the right path, you just have to remember to always move forward, not backwards.
